Although we are not physically back in the academy, our PHAntastic staff have still managed to pull together a number of activities to celebrate World Book Day with our students this year!
During lessons today, students will get the chance to see videos of some of our teachers sharing their favourite books with us.
Students will also get a chance to guess which members of our teaching staff are reading an extract from their favourite book in Pool Hayes Academy’s very own version of ‘The Masked Reader’. Can you guess who is behind the mask?
Another of our fun activities for World Book Day is, ‘Guess the Bookcase’!
Mrs Rayer says, “Make sure you look closely, there are lots of hints on the shelves! Guess as many as you can and send your answers to D.Rayer@poolhayes.attrust.org.uk to be in with a chance of being our champion bookshelf detective”.
