Maths Hangouts is a programme developed and run by Maths lecturers at the University of Wolverhampton and funded by Aspire to HE for all students in Year 9 and upwards. It is a completely free online resource for our students to use and work at their own pace, with access to a range of modules, interactive videos and quizzes. Upon completing all 17 online modules, students will be able to download a personalised certificate. There are also secure discussion boards for students to ask questions if they get stuck at any point, with lecturers regularly monitoring these for support.
The platform and discussion boards are a completely safe space for students, as they won’t be able to interact with others using the resources and will only be able to post questions, not images or media.
